About Me

Hi there, my name is Sean Wingo and I am a freelance photographer. I specialize in creating dynamic portraits of people, capturing life as it happens, making sure to capture every moment. I’ve been doing my own work since 2011. I’ve worked in a little bit of everything, including some work for Field & Stream Magazine [TOC Episode 3 & TOC Episode 4 ]. Mainly I work with babies, kids, families and weddings capturing life as it happens. I’m creative, adaptable, detail oriented, and personable. I have extensive experience in the field of photography. My dad, Mike Wingo and I have worked side by side for some time now – as in, as long as I can remember! I’ve followed him around asking questions my whole life, working as an apprentice in my late teens, learning from the best. While in high school I also participated in journalism as a photographer, refining my skills of capturing life instead of posing it.
I was born and raised in Springfield, MO. I still live in Springfield with my wife Lyndsey and newborn son Jack [and 3 dogs and cat], and I love it here. I’m very easy to talk to and I personally feel that the best way to photograph is to relax and let life take control.
